Libraries and Frameworks for Frontend Development teaches you to build robust and scalable web applications using React and Angular - the fundamental concepts of front-end development and how to create dynamic, interactive user interfaces.

You start with React - components, state, props and JSX, then hooks and Redux - before moving to Angular's components, modules, directives, services and templates. The final module brings it all together: you build a full-fledged website, component by component, and submit it for peer review.

It's the final course of Board Infinity's Build Website with HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, and React specialization on Coursera, and learners rate it 4.4 out of 5.

02 Who it's for

Built for people ready to move past plain HTML and JavaScript.

If you can build a basic page and want to build real applications, the course was written with you in mind.

03 What you'll build

Four things you'll build. Real components, real frameworks.

This is a build-first course - every module ends with code you wrote, not just concepts you watched.

Module 1

An interactive React UI

Components with JSX, props and state, wired to an API with useEffect and shared through useContext.

Module 1

App state with Redux

Predictable state management for a growing React application, applied to real use cases.

Module 2

Angular components and forms

Data binding, directives and pipes, plus template-driven and reactive forms in a modular app.

Module 3

A complete portfolio website

Navbar, home, tech stack, experience and project sections with scroll-to-top - peer reviewed.

08 FAQ

Common questions

Everything learners ask before enrolling, answered plainly.

About the course

Anyone who wants to learn how to build robust and scalable web applications using Angular and React - especially learners who already know HTML, CSS and JavaScript and want to move on to modern front-end frameworks.

The course is at intermediate level, so you should be comfortable with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. If you need a refresher, the first two courses of the specialization - Build a Webpage with HTML and CSS and JavaScript for Web Development - cover exactly that.

About 15 hours across 3 modules, with 47 video lessons, 9 readings, 12 assignments and a peer-reviewed final project. At 10 hours a week that's about two weeks. It's fully self-paced - deadlines flex around your schedule.

In module 3 you build the front end of a complete website - folder structure, navbar, home, tech stack, experience and project components, plus a scroll-to-top feature - and submit it for peer review. It's a project you can add straight to your portfolio.

To access course materials and assignments and earn a certificate, you purchase the Certificate experience when you enroll on Coursera. Eligible learners may also start with a free trial. Some courses also offer a Full Course, No Certificate option, which lets you access course materials, submit required assessments and receive a final grade, without earning a certificate.

Yes - this page is Board Infinity's own overview of our course. Enrollment, payment, video lessons, grading and the certificate all happen on Coursera, where the course is hosted. Think of this page as the detailed tour before you head there.

Career & certificate

Yes. Completing the graded assessments and the final project earns you a shareable certificate from Board Infinity, issued through Coursera. You can add it to your LinkedIn profile, resume or CV. As the final course, it also completes the specialization certificate once the first two courses are done.

This course teaches both, side by side, so you don't have to choose up front. You'll see how React's components and hooks compare with Angular's modules, binding and directives - and be able to work in teams that use either one.

When you enroll in the course, you get access to all of the courses in the Specialization, and you earn a certificate when you complete the work. Your electronic certificate is added to your Accomplishments page, where you can print it or add it to your LinkedIn profile.

Yes. In select learning programs you can apply for financial aid or a scholarship if you can't afford the enrollment fee. If financial aid or a scholarship is available for your program, you'll find a link to apply on the Coursera course page.

To go deeper on React, Board Infinity's Frontend Development using React is the natural next step. To become full-stack with your Angular skills, the Learning MEAN Stack specialization adds Node.js and MongoDB.
