A testbed for the MIDI Files was constructed using MATLAB using the "miditoolbox". The features were extracted using the above toolbox and a feature vector file was created.
The features were then read in Python using basic functions and packages to read files.
The features read, were checked for correlation independence, their intrinsic dimensions were computed and plotted visually.
Lastly, a Naive-Algorithm was implemented in order to find the ranks of the midi files based on their features. The ranks were then arranged in an ascending order and were finally displayed to the user as an output on the screen.
The following project was completed using the Languages, MATLAB and Python (Further additional tools and packages were installed in order to compute some functions and for explanatory data analysis using visualizations through plots).lg...Expand
