Search-engine for Multimedia/Complex Data Indexing Music

A testbed for the MIDI Files was constructed using MATLAB using the "miditoolbox". The features were extracted using the above toolbox and a feature vector file was created.
The features were then read in Python using basic functions and packages to read files.
The features read, were checked for correlation independence, their intrinsic dimensions were computed and plotted visually.
Lastly, a Naive-Algorithm was implemented in order to find the ranks of the midi files based on their features. The ranks were then arranged in an ascending order and were finally displayed to the user as an output on the screen.
The following project was completed using the Languages, MATLAB and Python (Further additional tools and packages were installed in order to compute some functions and for explanatory data analysis using visualizations through plots).
Investment Planner - An Expert System

Designed and Developed an expert system, so as to provide advice to the user, about how to invest and where to invest your capital. The Expert System was developed in FLEX programming language and the front end for the same, was designed using .Net, C#. Both the interfaces were connected using various DLL files and an effective application was developed. The responsibilities included were, coding the front end (C#), coding the back end (FLEX), interfacing Visual Studio and FLEX.
Recognition of Spam Mails Using Fuzzy Logic

The project made use of Fuzzy Logic, Fuzzy Rules and Fuzzy Control Language to detect the spam mails alog with its vulnerability. The entire system was built using the Object Oriented Java Language and also made use of the jFuzzy api which integrated the Fuzzy Control Language (FCL) and Java. Mails are fetched from the mail server, occurrence of the word is calculated and accordingly the ranking of the word is defined. Each spam word ranking is compared in the database and accordingly the spam mail is given a ranking. Based on the Fuzzy Rules, the mail is declared as least dangerous, moderatly dangerous or highly dangerous. Lastly a report is generated so that the user can view it for any future reference. This page is a static page that is a look alike of the Yahoo page. It included a lot of HTML, CSS and CSS3. The page was designed by us and our responsibility included only in the languages mentioned above as there is no database connectivity.
Online Phonebook System

The Online Phone-book System included the Registration of new users, a log in page for existing users. The user has the privileges to add, delete as well as alter the existing contact information. The Registration page, Log in page included all the validation so that the user cannot add any wrong input to it. This was done using Javascript and Jquery. For the back-end connectivity the server used was PHP and the database was MySQL. Designing and Front-end part was done using HTML and CSS. I had deal with Javascript, Jquery, HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL
Social Networking Site - Similar to that of Facebook

The Social Networking Site included all the features of the site that people are nowadays using it to connect with friends, family, colleagues etc. It included the Registration and the Log in page with all the possible validation. No two users with same email-id can register on the site. The user is provided with all the features of editing his profile, sending a request to a friend, sending messages to friends, searching friends. The user can also change his profile picture. The person logged in gets all the information about pending friend request or any pending messages that are unread. This project was done using the following languages: HTML, CSS and CSS3, Javascript and Jquery, PHP and MySQL. My responsibility was in all the above languages mentioned.
