Mr Anirban Chakraborty has co-founded Cadmus Capital, a mid-cap investment bank that specializes in debt syndication, private equity advisory, mergers and acquisitions advisory, structure finance advisory, and capital market advisory.
In his last stint as Managing Director & CEO of TFCI (April 2019 to April 2022), he formulated and developed the growth strategy by de- risking the company's business portfolio and ensuring an increase in income/operating profit and net interest margin. He is presently acting as an advisor at TFCI.
At Axis Capital, as Dy. CEO, he architected the transformation from an ECM- focused investment bank to an advisory-led investment bank, which included advisory practices such as private equity placement, mergers and acquisitions, and debt capital markets, resulting in a diversified best-in-class investment bank. He advised many different corporations and companies on capital restructuring, loan syndications, credit monitoring, financial advising, project appraisals, etc. He recruited best-in-class talent and contributed to the development of best practicesin the areas of distribution risk sourcing, underwriting, analytics, technology, and human capital.
