Investment Banking professional with experience of tracking various sectors for identifying opportunities and successful closure of transactions across Equity Capital Markets, M&A advisory and private placement. Presently, leading the origination efforts in pharmaceuticals, healthcare and chemicals with a track record of successful closure of multiple transactions across IPO, M&A and PE placement.
Prior to joining Axis Capital, I completed my MBA from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai, specializing in Finance. I did my internship at Mondelez International as a consultant implementing process transformations to generate cost savings for the Mondelez group.
My keen interest towards the social space prompted me to work on a couple of internships - Green Evangelist and Maharogi Sewa Samiti.
At Green Evangelist, a sustainability consulting startup, the objective was to help corporates track and monitor their CSR spend and the ascertain the impact of these spends.
At Maharogi Sewa Samiti - Worked towards generating employment opportunities for specially-abled students after thorough capability assessment and collaborating with various placement agencies.
Prior to my MBA, I successfully completed my Chartered Accountancy at the age of 21, clearing all the levels in the first attempt, working for 3 years as an articled assistant, understanding business models of SME's across sectors and suggesting improvements in their existing business models.
Consistently strong in academics, I was awarded by Honorable Governor of West Bengal for excellent performance in Class XII CBSE examinations.
Apart from this, I am a big sports enthusiast, enjoy participating in marathons and someone who likes interacting with and meeting new people.see more
