Himanshu is a Strategic Thought Leader with 17+ years of combined experience across Public Policy, Consulting,Startup ecosystem & Industry. Currently as Director, NITI Aayog (Premier Govt. of India Thinktank) he leads multiple Programs at Atal Innovation Mission, a flagship Innovation & Entrepreneurship program of Govt. of India.
In his current role he leads the Partnership and Ecosystem development team structuring Strategic Programs with countries like - Germany, France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Italy Austria, Belgium, Switzerland etc. across Innovation & Entrepreunership ecosystem. He also works with various multilateral Organizations like UNDP, UN Women and WIPO. In fact, he is leading a strategic program with WIPO to take India’s Innovation Model to the Global South countries. He also conceptualized the creation of State Innovation Missions (SIM) across 36 Indian States / Union Territories (UTs) within the flagship State Support Mission (SSM) of NITI Aayog with focus on Innovation across critical sectors to improve national & global competitiveness.
In the past, he has led multiple engagements as Principal / Director in Accenture Strategy & Consulting where he spend almost a decade managing critical C-Suite relationships with P&L accountability.
Key Projects delivered across: Digital-led Customer experience, Analytics-driven front-end Transformation, Go-to Market Strategy, Key Account Management, Rural Marketing, Project Management (PMO), Business Strategy, Change Management, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Capability Development, Change Management and Total Rewards.
In addition to the Consulting responsibilities, he also served as Lead for Campus Engagement team from the business side working closely with HR as a regular interview panellist at the premier B-Schools. He as also served as faculty at the Global Accenture Strategy Colleges (Chicago / Madrid / KL).
Post Accenture, as a Founding member he was scaling a Pre-Series A funded Startup in Insure-tech / Health-tech working at the intersection of Technology & Analytics solving the massive Insurance under penetration problem by bringing Care to Insurance.
As ex- Tata Motors GET in the Sales & Customer Support domain of the Commercial Vehicle Business, he
managed multiple dealerships with P&L accountability of 15 million USD through the non-vehicular business sales in UP & Uttrakhand.
He has an full time MBA degree from XLRI Jamshedpur (Top 10 college in India) along with Strategy Certification from INSEAD (sponsored by Accenture for being Top 5% within the consulting workforce).see morelg...see more
