Relative Ranking and Analysis of National Family Health Survey (NFHS)-3

Dealt with a sensitive, yet enormously socially-relevant aspect of computational data sciences. In the project, we were able to identify a means of quantifying and relating the 'relative rank' of a person that he/she assumes in a society based on monthly income, to his/her healthy well-being (in terms of tobacco consumption) using statistical modeling. The project involved carefully choosing and extracting useful information from the survey dataset NFHS-3 followed by data analytics techniques, deploying R programming and the tool STATA.

Presented an innovative and exciting prototype of an anti-theft ladies bag using Arduino, BLE-enabled Tah, RFID tags, RFID reader, GPS and GSM modules and buzzers. Made secure against 3 kinds of bag thefts - chain opening, tampering or snatching of bag and leaving the bag unattended.
All the electronic components were stitched into the bag inconspicuously using conductive cloth and threads. This prototype proves to serve as a deterrent to bag thefts.

Designed and developed a Windows-based desktop software to be used by the visually-challenged. Software was aided with the functionality of JAWS screen reader through JAWS Scripting language to substitute mouse actions with keyboard shortcut keys for easier operability and navigation by the blind.
Software was well received by the Blind People's Association and is being currently used to manage the hospital and patient records.
