Machine Health Monitoring System
Completion Date : Jan 2018
The parameters such as input speed, output speed, vibrations, current, and load were monitored in real time by collecting sensor data. This data was stored in a database and accessed by a Python-based GUI, which alerted users about machine parameters to help maintain the machine's health. Built a GUI, providing clear visualizations to the end user. The system was implemented on a TIVA board.
Prototype Of Hoverboard
Completion Date : Jan 2018
A two-wheeled robot was developed using the Robot Operating System (ROS) and equipped with an advanced control system that dynamically balances the robot while carrying a payload of 2-3 kg. The control system was implemented using a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino.
Sorting Fruits Using Deep Learning
Completion Date : Aug 2017
For the demonstration, two fruits, an apple and an orange, were used. This demo showcased neural networks by training 1000 datasets for each fruit. A camera captured images of the fruits, which were then processed and sent to a microcontroller using socket programming. Based on the fruit type, the system sorted the fruits into different boxes. A GUI for the system was developed using LabVIEW, and key libraries employed included TensorFlow and OpenCV.
Throttle Control Of 4 Stroke Engine
Completion Date : Aug 2017
Throttle control for a 4-stroke pleasure vehicle engine was implemented using ROS to regulate the vehicle's speed within a stable range. The desired speed is entered through a Python-based GUI, and the torque acting on the vehicle is displayed on an LCD. The control system was built using a Raspberry Pi and an Arduino.
Bussiness Case Study: 101 Pool Games Case Study
Completion Date : Jan 1970
Using the provided data, analyzed and recommended the necessary configurations to add, remove, or edit in order to maximize revenue and increase engagement. Additionally, identified the optimal mix of configurations that should be available to achieve these goals.
Thermostatic Waterbath
Completion Date : Jan 1970
A thermostatic water bath was constructed using a PID controller to ensure uniform heating and incubation of samples. Additionally, a timer was programmed to notify the user when to turn off the water bath. The older water bath was redesigned primarily due to issues with the placement of the control system.
