Sentiment Analysis of Indian Aviation Industry

■ The project aimed to assess the popularity of various Indian airlines amongst the travelers.
■ Worked in a team of 4 to analyze the competition in airlines industry both qualitatively and quantitatively to help the companies decide on their future marketing and operating strategies.
■ Worked on “R” software to extract tweets and arrive at individual sentiment scores for each airlines.
What is sentiment analysis?
Sentiment analysis is the systematic study of human ‘affective’ states by taking into account positive, negative or neutral or mixed value, or according to mood, emotion, or feelings (angry, happy, sad, proud, disappointed, etc.) which provides valuable insights to Marketers and Organizations looking to improve productivity and optimize their brand/product.
