Analysis of Export Performance of Indian Textiles Industry

The purpose of this project is to analyze the performance of export of textiles industry in India before and after the Multi-Fiber agreement. It also analyzes whether there is any impact of the recession, in the year 2008, on the overall export of the industry. The dependency of the various segments of textile industry on the overall exports is studied by the use of advanced statistics methods like regression and ANOVA. The paper focuses on the above objectives and aims at shedding light on them by testing some hypotheses.
