“I am really honored to be a part of Manthan. I joined Manthan when it was only a startup and, it was around 12 yrs ago. I had no idea how this company was going to grow in the field of analytics. However, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel believing that it will boom up the market. Well, it did happen. Being an Indian Product firm in analytics was quite a challenging one when Manthan started. But it overcame the challenges and paced up very soon.
We are into both Big data & Predictive Analytics and we deliver our analytics products to our promising customers. Talking about hiring, we go for freshers and laterals in the roles like data scientist, data analyst, business analyst and technology evangelists. But the biggest challenge faced is that the individuals turning up for these roles do not have clarity and don’t know the differences between the roles. To overcome these, we intent to hire the right people with the right attitude. A fresher should have a good knowledge and understanding of R Programming, Python, and Machine Learning. They also should have the eagerness and have the curiosity to learn new things. We look forward to building this person in Manthan and, expect them to be committed to us. The future skills we focus on for hiring is into Deep Learning, NLP and good grip on Algorithm so that we provide the best to our customers. Talking about hiring Non-Engineering people for the above roles, we look forward to hiring them when they are good at mathematics and statistics which is essential”.
